Geoffrey Brunsdon
Independent and Non-Executive Director (Chairman)

Geoff was appointed a Director and Chairman of the Company on 3 February 2004 and is a member of the Audit and Compliance Commmittee.

Geoff is a professional company director and he has had a career in investment banking that has spanned more than 25 years. Until June 2008 he was Managing Director and Head of Investment Bank at Merrill Lynch (International) Australia Limited.

Geoff was a member of the listing committee of the Australian Stock Exchange between 1993 and 1997. He was a director of Sims Group between 1999 and 2008.

Geoff is a Chartered Accountant, a Fellow of FINSIA and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is a Director of APN Funds Management Limited, a Director of Sims Metal Management Limited, Chairman of Metlife Insurance Limited, and a Director of Macquarie University Hospital.

Geoff is also involved in several non-profit organisations including as Chairman of Redkite (supporting families who have children with cancer), the Wentworth Group of Concerned Scientists and Purves Environmental Custodians.

Jon Schahinger
Managing Director

The Manager has made Jon available to the Company as Managing Director and he has been in that position since 3 February 2004. The role is to oversee the implementation of the Company’s investment strategy and its administrative requirements. He is the Company’s primary contact for its external relationships.

Jon has responsibility for all aspects of the Manager's private equity operations. He has a background in accounting, finance and investment.

Jon has been in the funds management industry for over 20 years in both the listed and unlisted arenas and is a Non-Executive Director of two other public companies, Advent III Private Equity and Quickflix Limited.

Donald Stammer
Independent and Non-Executive Director

Don was appointed Director on 3 February 2004 and is Chairman of the Audit and Compliance Committee.  

Don has had a long and distinguished career in academia, central banking and investment banking and is one of Australia’s best known economists.

From 1972 until 1981 Don held senior positions including Deputy Chief Manager at the Reserve Bank of Australia. From 1981 until 2001 he was Chief Economist/Director of Investment Strategy with Deutsche Bank (formerly Bain & Company).

Don is a Non-Executive Director of the listed company, Praemium Limited. He also chairs the Australian Ecosystems Foundation Incorporated and is also a member of the Investments Commmittee of the National Childrens' Medical Research Institute.
