Steven Billiet, MFM, MEcon
Chief Executive Office
Steven joined INGIM Australia in January 2010 and is responsible for business and investment strategy. He has over 15 years’ experience in wealth management having worked in product management and sales, financial services, financial planning, private banking and asset management. Steven has been with the ING Group since 1994 and had held several key positions including Head of Product Management and Head of Sales for INGIM Brussels, Head of Private Banking and Bancassurance for ING Vysya Bank India and most recently as CEO of INGIM Taiwan.

Martin Donnelly, M.Com, B.Com, Grad AICD
Head of Distribution & Deputy CEO
Martin is responsible for sales, client relationship, product development and marketing activities across both the institutional and wholesale segments, as well as overseeing INGIM’s links with its other distribution businesses across Asia. Martin was previously Director of Institutional Business at Barclays Global Investors. Prior to that he was Portfolio Manager at DB Capital Partners and held business development roles at Deutsche Asset Management and LGT Asset Management. With extensive experience in financial services, Martin has a strong appreciation of client needs and the identification and development of products to leverage opportunities in a continuously evolving industry.

James Wright, B.Ec (Hons)
Chief Investment Officer, Asset Strategies and Alternatives
James has overall responsibility for Australian Equities, Fixed Income, Listed Property, Private Equity and Quantitative Services. He is also a member of INGIM’s Australian Asset Allocation Committee, Investment Committee and the Private Equity Investment Committee and is a Non-Executive Director of the listed company, ING Private Equity Access Limited (ING PEAL). James previously held the role of Director, Fixed Income, from May 2002 until October 2007. He has also previously held roles with ANZ Investments, Treasury Corporation of Victoria (TCV), and the Department of the Treasury in Canberra.

Emmanuel Calligeris, B.Econ, M.Bus
Chief Investment Officer, Multi Strategies Group
Emmanuel is the Chief Investment Officer of INGIM's Multi-Strategies capability which covers a suite of multi-manager funds and the management of a range of ING multi-sector funds offered in the Australian market. Emmanuel joined INGIM in 1993 originally in a multi-manager role before he was appointed to his current position in November 2008. He commenced his career in finance as a Fixed Interest Adviser with Bankers Trust Australia, where he was responsible for analysing economic and technical data and interpreting it into investment strategies for fixed income portfolios.

Michael Christofides, M.Com
Head of Strategic Business Development
Michael is responsible for identifying, developing and managing strategic business opportunities for INGIM, including developing strategic alliances across INGIM’s distribution channels and product segments. Michael was previously Manager, Executive Office where he worked closely with the Executive team in developing corporate strategies and business plans for INGIM. Michael has been in the ING Group for the last 10 years, covering various roles in New Zealand, Hong Kong, Amsterdam and Sydney. His experiences includes advice on partnerships/alliances and M&A projects; business integration planning and implementation; strategic planning; and business planning and development.
Paul Pugliese, B.Com, CA, Fellow FINSIA
Chief Risk and Governance Officer
Paul is responsible for a range of key business functions including performance and data analytics, compliance, operational risk and financial control. He is also member of the Risk Management and Compliance Committee. Paul has held several senior finance and operational roles within the investment management and insurance industries. Previously he was Head of Operations and Technology for Citigroup Asset Management’s Asia Pacific region and has also had roles with Price Waterhouse in Australia and San Francisco.
David Hampton, B.Bus, M.Econ
Chief Operating Officer
David is responsible for the management of the operations and information technology teams of INGIM. He also chairs the Operations Committee and is a member of the INGIM Board and Risk Management Committees. David has over 25 years experience in diversified financial services in the context of start-ups, business transformations and joint ventures across a variety of markets and regulatory environments. He has spent over 12 years working in Asia and his experience includes setting up and managing life insurance, wealth and investment management businesses in Malaysia, India and Japan.

Phyllis Sequeira, M.Bus
Head of People & Culture
Phyllis is responsible for developing and aligning INGIM culture, staff engagement and human resources services. Phyllis previously worked with MBF Australia where she was General Manager, Human Resources and Organisational Development and at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia over a period of 10 years, including Executive General Manager, HR for Institutional Banking and managing the Geared Investments business for three years. Phyllis has extensive experience gained in financial services, health industry and several government agencies.
